Package of direct technical assistance to the Inspection Reforms in North Macedonia

The Center for Development Policies IDEAS DePo, within the activity “Reforms in the Inspection System” as part of the USAID Civic Engagement  Project, in the period from 02-03 June 2022 in Ohrid held a Forum of stakeholders with Inspections Council on the prevention of corruption in the inspection system and curriculum for inspectors’ integrity training.

The forum was actively attended by members of the Inspection Council, representatives of the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance policies, the State Market Inspectorate, the State Environmental Inspectorate, the State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate.

The representatives of the inspection services interactively discussed the potential “hot spots-corruption risks” and the integrity of the inspectors.

The Center for Development Policies IDEASDePo, will continue to organize  workshops of this type where stakeholders will have the opportunity to share their views, experiences, ideas and suggestions.
