ONLINE COMPUTER SKILLS TRAINING FOR NEW CANDIDATES FOR INSPECTORS
As of September 2020, the Inspection Council of the Republic of North Macedonia, started organizing a mentorship training for 24 new candidates for inspectors. The initial training was organized on the topic “Computer Skills”, as one of the 8 main topics that candidates must pass on the exam, in order to obtain a license for inspectors. Rozalija Vasilevska, author of the Handbook as well as of the Exam Questions for this topic, as a part of IDEAS DePo, successfully completed the Online Computer Skills training, supported by the USAID Modernizing the Inspection Authorities (MIA) Project. In the upcoming period, the USAID MIA Project will support the organization and delivery of an online training for the “Soft Skills” topic, while the remaining 6 topics covering General Laws subject-matter will be organized by the Inspection Council and will be conducted by Senior Inspectors that have already been trained within USAID MIA Project activities, implemented by IDEAS DePo.
During this period, the Inspection Council, in partnership with the USAID MIA Project, manages to provide successful online training and mentoring for inspectors, which is actually one of the first steps towards self-sustainable operation of the newly established Training Center within the Inspection Council, supported by the USAID MIA Project, implemented by IDEAS DePo.
